When You Bring Sexy Back

I remember speaking with Dyana last year in regards to scheduling her family session. She wanted to lose ‘more’ weight first and she would let me know when she was ready. When I received her email, I was ecstatic to work with her and her family for a session. Suprisingly enough, she mentioned she was expecting and would love me to capture her growing family. I giggled because I remember when I went on my weight loss, and finally hit my goal, I also tested positive on a pregnancy test. See what happens when you try to bring sexy back? You are confident, bold and preggo! :) )

Dyana, it was soOO nice to see you again and it was nice to get my camera on JD once more. It was a pleasure to meet your husband, and you guys make such a cute family! I hope you enjoyed our day at the beach, and hope you enjoy your teasers. I can’t wait to meet Baby Boy #2! :)

Following my Footsteps

It’s really amazing watching kids aspire to be like their parents. Every time I look at my little ones grow, it fascinates me how they mimic every word, every gesture down to every activity. This morning was a prime example of Kayla doing just that. I couldn’t help capture this moment, as I’m one very proud idol. :P

Look how great of an angel she’s getting of her big brother. Her higher than him to reduce the infamous double chin effect.

Now she’s ensuring proper exposure, making sure focal points are where they need to be. The smile on her face shows satisfaction and she’s ready to do more shots!

Whoa, wait. Is she doing a self portrait? Kayla, that’s too close to your eye.

Oh no baby! You don’t put the lens to your eye!!! That’s not a viewfinder!

Awe… you ok?! Was that flash bright?

Oiy my dear…what am I going to do with you?

I tried many times to show her the LCD, but either way, she preferred to be ‘like mama’!

…I’m still proud!

A Girl and her Ladybugs

I am taking full advantage of the amount of rain San Diego is getting. When I saw my Father-In-Law’s backyard, it was a must mini session with my little girl. This was the first time she’s seen ladybugs in person, and as hesitant as she was, she was also very curious. I seriously can’t believe how fast she is growing. In just a couple weeks my little girl will be turning TWO! She amazes me with how observant she is with her surroundings and how much she expresses her self. I find it so cute when she is distraught and you hear her say, “oOooh NoooOO!” The tiny voice and the shear sadness. Luckily, she is quick to bounce back and be happy once she figured out how to make it all better. Her favorite cartoon at the moment is Ni Hao Kai Lan, and (sadly) Yo Gabba Gabba. She will stop in her tracks when she hears either one. With that said, she’s learn to LOVE her Kai Lan big girl undies and enjoys the freedom of no more diaper. I’m so proud of her. I love snuggling her, and it’s too funny when I ‘resist’ kissing her. She will grab my head with both hands and plant me a big wet kiss…:sigh:. These moments are something I can cherish forever. Now where is the magical photographer that suppose to be capturing all of this for MY family?!

Change is Still Good

Notice anything different? The color, the name maybe? Looks may change, but I promise you it’s still me, maybe now more than ever. Same meaningful photos, same great passion.

Yes, and still, ‘Capturing Life…Naturally.’

And since a post is not a post without a photo…
