Remember this session? Well, no more secrets for Mom and Dad. On August 17 Baby BOY Jayden made his arrival! He is the such a darling little boy and at 5 days old I had the pleasure to meet him and so did my camera. I just enjoyed every moment with him. I especially loved how much this little boy made my job easy and just slept and how Mommy and Daddy just did their thing while I worked the magic. It’s been a tad too long since I got to play with a newborn, thanks Chrysty and Jeff for letting me get my fix!

Congratulations to you both, Jayden is SOOO CUTE with his oh-s0-chinky eyes (and birthmarked bottom ). Here are your teasers!

Two of a Kind

I know having twins is a tough job, but these two made my job E-A-S-Y! Not only did we have so much fun, I had a great workout.

While getting to know Bryn and Blaine, I can’t imagine a more perfect pair. First of all, having one of each gender is WOW already. Then having them each be different in personality yet so alike at the same time just made me want to learn more about them! I just LOVE LOVE LOVE Bryn’s beautiful locks, and not to mention Blaine’s boyish demeanor. With the time we spent with eachother making the loudest of sounds, and jumping around like no one was looking (ok, so I was making the loudest sounds and jumping around), getting a hug from Bryn and a wet kiss from Blaine just melted my heart.

Kellie, thank you so much for bringing out the two to come and and play with me and my rugrats. As I mentioned to you before, I commend you!! You are indeed very lucky to have these perfect babies! I’m glad to have shown you Balboa Park, and I’d love to suggest more fun go to places in San Diego once you’re all settled! Here are your teasers.

Baby Isa

What a doll!! For being 3 weeks old, she was super tiny and was made my job COMPLETELY easy. She slept as soon as I got there, didn’t soil a single item, and STAYED asleep even after I left. She is precious in every way. From the tiny toes, to the sweet rosy lips, I couldn’t get my camera off of her. She is the ying to the yang, as she is the 3rd of 3 girls. It was great to meet the older sisters as they showed pure energy and excitement for their baby sister. As I spoke with Dad, he told me they were trying for a boy, and were happily given 3 girls. Jokingly I replied, “3 stikes’, and he smiled and said…’more like homeruns’! HOW SWEET!!

This year I was inspired to do a family book. I make so many for my clients, but never seem to do anything with my own photos! Shame on me! So for the past couple days I decided I MUST do it. I’m quite proud of myself, I must say. I can’t wait to order my book(s). Right now it’s only photos, but I think I want to add a little more. Maybe a page here or there about the memories the photos bring. How much Keoni has grown, or how Kayla has changed our lives?! I’m in no rush to print this, though I should be. I’d hate for it to be 2011 before I get it! haha.

I can’t believe how much has happened in the past 12 months. I can honestly I’m blessed to have such great family, friends and all the mooshy stuff in between! Here’s a peek of what’s to get printed!

Have you ever tried to take your own family photos? As a photographer and parent, there always seems to be ONE person missing in pictures of my family, the person taking the photo (which is me). We’ve tried setting up the camera on top of the stroller with a timer, we’ve tried the ‘arm-stretched-out-and-hoping-everyone’s-in-the-frame’ technique, but in the end we end up with this.

As much as I love the quirky, snapshot this is, it’s not one I’d hang on the wall – but maybe in the scrapbook. So stop kidding yourself that your family photos are just fine, and find someone to help you. Nothing is more important than capturing what’s most important to you. I enjoy capturing the random, quirky personality every family has. I know, and you know, it’s life and it’s not picture perfect, and it’s ok. Nothing makes a photo more personal than one that can make you laugh, smile and maybe even shed a tear. When I do a session it’s not formal, sorry to say. Everyone is dressed comfy (yet stylish), we will laugh, and have fun. It brings out the natural smile in everyone. So leave the pressed shirts at home, and come in your favorite jeans and rockin’ shirt and let’s capture these precious moments!

Introducing Kayla Noelani

I know I’m a little late…sue me .

Kayla has made her appearance on March 26th, 2009 at 1:49pm. Weighing in at 6 pounds 5 ounces and 20 inches in length.

She’s been a good girl. Keoni is being such a big brother, it helps us out a lot! It’s crazy to think that we are now a family of 4…FOUR!

I’ll post more pics later. Shes HUNGRY!

3 Remaining Survivors

So today the remaining Morga siblings reunite. Out of 7 kids, the surviving 3 are together, in one room, on one couch.

My grandmother (95yo), sits with with her two brothers (80yo & 75yo). Granted she can’t remember who anyone is…I think she had a little feeling that these two were extra special. She was full of smiles, and talked nonstop (though no one understood a word she said..and no one needed to).

Fun at the Park

Who could resist not going to the park on such wonderful weather? Lately it’s been in the 70s, so we all decided to get some fresh air and have a stroll at the park. The K man was excited to be able to bike where he pleased (well almost)! I can’t wait until we can push Sister around at the park too!!

I just love having sessions at the beach. I find that I take it for granted living here in San Diego, and that the only way I find my butt going is if I have a session there. Both the hubby and child enjoy it as well, as they come with me and they do what boys do best (which is dig holes and make sand castles).

Margie has been a friend of mine, since.well ever since. We’ve lost contact after high school, and I’m glad we’ve found our way to eachother again. I don’t know what I would do without her. She’s taught me so much about living this ‘Wife and Mom life’, I owe her so much. When I feel caught up in the drama, she’s one I can turn to and bring me back to reality. She doesn’t judge, nor does she question…shes a girlfriend and I love her!

So Margie and Dan, thanks for today. THANKS FOR IN AND OUT …here are your teasers! YES, I’m only giving you two for now! lol.
