I suck at keeping things a surprise. If I can find out, I want to know. When I found out a middle school friend of mine was keeping the gender of her baby a surprise, I had a flashback (times 2) remembering how waiting 20 weeks was already LONG enough. With Chrysty being ALREADY 34 weeks pregnant, she’s gone 14 weeks longer than I had and is quite content not knowing! I’m not surprised, though. From knowing her since we were…wow..13 years old, I know how strong willed and determined she is. When she sets her mind to something, she achieves it. She has the beauty and the grace that radiates confidence. Now married to an amazing husband, this next step in her (and their) life will be graciously approached and handled perfectly!

Chrysty and Jeff, CONGRATULATIONS on the baby to come! It’s simply amazing seeing all of my friends having babies…MAKES ME SO GIDDY! ) I couldn’t JUST choose 3 or 4, so enjoy all 6 of your teasers!

What better way to start off the new year, than with a bump? Sharon and Kyle are expecting their baby girl, Abby, at the end of this month.  I had so much fun with them at their session as they brought along their first baby, Hoshky! Sorry guys if I butchered the spelling of his name!   We had so many ideas, so many places (walking distance of course), I was ecstatic to try them all.  It helps when both Sharon and I (in my alter ego hehe) are in the hospitality industry and know a thing or two about locations in San Diego. ha!

I love how whenever I do an on location session, something ALWAYS has to happen.  THIS time, it wasn’t too bad…just a lovely gush of COLD water got us as we shot closer to the water.  Good news, camera stayed dry, bad news, I didn’t get a darn shot of their reaction of when the wave hit! LOL.  Sharon and Kyle (and Hoshky), THANK YOU for spending the evening with me (and my family – they came along for the fun!).  I can’t wait to meet Baby Abigail!

Today I had the pleasure to photograph two very fun people, Angela and Brett…and two cute pugs! Nothing says LOVE ME like two cute smooshed faces with their toungues flapping in the air. Oh yeah, not to mention the cute, NO-STRETCHMARKED-BELLY! Yes, Angela, I’m jealous!   With San Diego’s beautiful weather, we couldn’t resist hitting up the local beach.  We couldn’t resist getting milkshakes, having a run-in with the law, oh yeah, and just having fun!

It was great spending the afternoon with you two, next time we’ll read the sign, right?   Here are your teasers!

P.S. YES, Brett wanted that milkshake real bad!

Sorry to have been MIA for the longest time!  Mainly been cleaning and cleaning…and CLEANING!  Today was a fun-filled day as my two best girlfriends threw me my babyshower for Miss Kayla.  I don’t have any pics to post from there just yet, but I do have a nice round belly to share.  This pic was taken by my friend Tamara.  She came all the way from South Carolina to be at the babyshower (and do double maternity shots…those are soon to come as well).For now, here are teasers! lol.

I’m shocked I can still see my feet.  Well kind of.  I thought I should document this moment while I still can!  Time is cutting close, and I need to get everything situated.  The nesting has taken place…poor hubby has to deal with me wanting to move things, clean things, arrange things…

I’ve been wanting to do photos at the infamous Crystal Pier, and today I had my chance! Armand and Johanna are expecting their first child, Kai (which means Sea in Hawaiian).  How can I not take the opportunity to bring Kai to where he ’belongs’.  Thank you so much you to for giving me the opportunity to do your photos and I will see you soon Kai!

Pasheoni has an addition to the family! YUP, you read right…we gotta a baby on the way! Baby #2 is due April 13, 2009….gender yet to be determined! It’s been an exhausting 4 months, but I couldn’t have done it without the countless help my dear oh hubby has done for me. For all my clients that felt the wrath of the preggo-saur during the last couple of months…THANK YOU for understanding!
