I can’t believe how time flies! My boy is two? TWO? Really? Paul and I decided the best place to take him would be to the waterpark. It was so much fun! Of course, I chose NOT to bring my handy-dandy-Cammy, b/c I (1). Didn’t want it to get stolen if I was out in the water and (2). Break the darn thing. I did however bring a :gasp:DISPOSABLE waterproof camera! Now, that darn thing is waiting to be developed!
Now, now…of course we had to have the traditional BBQ, cake and ice cream (as shown above). I hope he had as much fun as we all did, and I can’t wait for another funfilled year with my ‘terrible’ TWO!
I’ve actually been back since Monday afternoon! I know I said Sunday night…but ACK my flight was canceled….so don’t get me started on that venture! GRRRRR!
I had a blast! It was an awesome experience traveling that far with a toddler and I’m not sure if I’d do it alone again..lol. I would LOVE to go back to the east coast however.
Well enough talking, here is a sample of my trip.
This was a crazy idea of going out at 4:30am to catch the sunrise before the boys woke (they were with her DH sound asleep at home). What a refreshing feeling!
This is her taking a pic of me…(she gave permission for me to post it here lol)
End result…

Me taking one of her…

I thought this was a neat candid…

The Oh-So-Gorgeous Friend

It was a love-hate relationship…

I went to visit a friend today as she was staying at Mission Beach for a mini vacation away from Arizona. I couldn’t even remember the last time I went to the beach. Some people, like my friend Jamie, make it an effort to hear the Pacific waves crashing against the sand. I, on the other hand, just have to drive 15 minutes to see it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a beach goer, it’s just so darn hard to break away from the every day monotony. Thank you Jamie for reminding me of the little things I take for granted.

There are days where you just need to open up and refresh yourself. Immerse yourself with what Mother Earth has to offer. Release yourself from the stressors of every day life and enjoy the simple breeze that flows through your fingertips. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff.
…now if only I listen to myself!
Sorry for all who’ve been wondering what has happened. With my blog being tied into my server, I wasn’t able to comment that I was down..lol. Here’s the scoop for all who’s interested.
Data Center Fire at The Planet Disrupts Popular Blogging Service
9,000 servers temporarily affected but should be up and running soon
09:49AM Sunday Jun 01 2008 by KathrynV
The Planet is a dedicated server hosting provider which operates six large data centers in Texas. One of their Houston-based data centers suffered from a fire last night which has left all servers there temporarily down which means that approximately 7,500 customers can’t access their websites. One of those customers is Entrecard, a popular social networking and advertising service for bloggers. The fire apparently didn’t do any actual damage to the servers but caused the power to go out which took out the service. As of this morning, they don’t have an estimated time of repair but are providing hourly updates to customers here.
